Smokey Bones Burger Battle | Events

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill-- Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill challenges competitive eaters to chow down on burgers and win a $2,500 cash prize during its 2nd annual Burger Battle. 

Today from 7 - 10 p.m., eaters will peruse the Smokey Bones Build-A-Burger menu and top their buns with a choice of brisket or pork, one cold topping, one hot topping, cheese and a specialty sauce. 

The fastest to wolf down their half-pound burger creation in their heat will advance to the next round, the Burger Blitz, which applies the same concept as the first, but ups the chomping challenge to a full-pound burger. 

The winner of the Burger Blitz claims a $200 Smokey Bones gift certificate and the opportunity to compare times with the winners from each of the other 66 participating restaurant. The fastest time throughout wins $2,500 and the title of "Burger Battle Champion."

The Burger Battle will accept 40 contestants at each of their locations, so head to the one nearest you!

It is $10 to participate, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Home for Our Troops.
