Tampa, FL-- This Sunday, November 4, everyone will be changing their clocks back one hour "at 2 a.m." Tampa Fire Rescue wants to remind you to change your smoke alarm batteries at the same time. 

In a recent release, they note that many people are unsure of when to change their batteries. While they encourage you to do so two times a year, they say the safest minimum is once a year. 

So at 2 a.m. this Sunday (or at whatever time you actually decide to turn back your clocks) be sure to install a new battery into your smoke detector!

The race kicks off at 8 a.m., followed by the children's Fun Run at 9 a.m.
