Tampa, FL-- Head Football Coach Bob Henriquez has resigned from Tampa Catholic, to concentrate on his new job as Hillsborough County Property Appraiser.

Henriquez was elected last month.

He was TC's head coach for 17 seasons, where his teams won 128 games, and made the playoffs 13 times.

Whenever rivals Tampa Catholic and Jesuit collide you can expect a grudge match...which was the case this Friday.   However unlike years past, only one of these two perennial powerhouses will be advancing to the playoffs, but that didn't mean much in this game.

In the first quarter the Crusaders got on the board first with a 21-yard field goal from Michael Sarafinos to make it 3-0 Tampa Catholic.  And surprisingly that's how it would stand going into the half.

As we approach the final week of the season, first round playoff matchups are set, and only one final game, often a rivalry game, remains for most teams.

There was very little movement in the High School Sports top 10 this week, with the exception of Lakeland dropping down and out, and East Lake moving up and in.

Again, the High School Sports Top 10 encompasses gridiron teams from the entire Tampa Bay area, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas and Hillsborough.
