Sickles beats Alonso 20-14 | HS Sports

On a rainy night in Tampa, a huge neighborhood rivalry went down to the final quarter as the Sickles Gryphons beat Alonso 20-14 in the season finale for both teams.

The first three quarters belonged to the visiting Gryphons.  First quarter, LaDonda Crittendon ran 9 yards for the first points of the game to give Sickles a 6-0 lead. 

Second quarter it was Sickles quarterback Nate Mills tossing a 33-yard pass to Bilal Salat for the touchdown. Sickles led it 13-0 afteer 3 quarters of play.  The Ravens rallied with a pair of 4th quarter touchdowns, but Sickles scored one more time and hung on to win it 20-14.
