FDOT: Nightly and early morning lane closures near you
Tampa, Florida-- The Florida Department of transportation has announced nightly lane closures as a result of road work taking place in your area.
The closures are as follows:
I-275 between Floribraska and Busch
- One to two lanes may be closed in each direction of I-275 from Floribraska Avenue (south of MLK, Exit 46B) to Yukon Street (south of Busch Blvd., Exit 50) Sunday through Thursday (September 9 - 13) nights.
- Southbound closures will be from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and northbound closures will be from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Sligh Avenue
- One lane will be closed in either direction of Sligh Avenue between Central and Nebraska avenues from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (September 9 - 13) nights.
MLK at I-275
- One lane will be closed in either direction of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between Central and Nebraska avenues from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (September 9 - 13) nights.
Waters Avenue
- One lane will be closed in either direction of Waters Avenue between Florida and Nebraska avenues from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (September 9 - 13) nights.
Westbound Hillsborough Avenue - early mornings
- Westbound Hillsborough Avenue closed between Nebraska and Central avenues from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. this morning, and will close again Monday through Saturday (September 10 - 15) mornings.
- One to two lanes will also be closed an hour before or after the detour.
- On eastbound Hillsborough Avenue, one lane will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday (September 9 - 14) nights.
Detour: for westbound closure: Traffic will be detoured south on Nebraska Avenue, west on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, then north on Florida Avenue back to Hillsborough Avenue.
