Hillsborough County, Florida-- The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) says April 2013 now holds the record for the fourth highest ridership rate in all of HART's history! 

According to a release sent Thursday, April's bus ridership of 1,257,728 is a 6 percent increase from the 1,182,531 recorded riders in April 2012.

April 1st may have set the tone for the month's success, as HART reps say it saw the greatest daily ridership of the month with nearly 55,000 riders.

Tampa, Florida-- With Tax Day right around the corner, the U.S. Postal Service says Tampa post offices are ready for those last minute filers!

Reps say there will be a number of locations and self service kiosks open past 5 p.m. for those filing on Monday, April 15- AKA the last day to file in 2013!

As in past tax seasons, The U.S Postal Service says they will provide customers with both timely tax return drop offs and special services, including:
